Double D's movie reviews episode 2

I saw Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy this past weekend. It wasn't bad, it wasn't good, it just was. So-so is the term i think best describes it. I really wanted to like this movie a lot. I saw the 80's tv series twice (back in the day), and read at least the first book. Maybe I just built it up too much over the last twenty years. There were several inside jokes relating to the tv series which your average movie goer would not have picked up on. I'm still not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. I just didn't feel satisfied after watching it.
