I think I'm gonna esplode

Have you ever been so aggravated/full of rage that you wanted to smash whatever was closest to you, even if it was atoms? That was today. I had to call a "solutions provider" that put in our new phone system at work and tell them that after six months it is worth shit and I wish I could have the whole damn thing pulled out. Of course I toned it down a bit. Then I get an email from Sears that an appliance I ordered was in and I could pick it up. I drive all the way there in rush hour traffic, only to get the deer-in-the-headlights "I dunno wha happen" look. Needless to say, it wasn't there, eventhough they emailed me and called me and said the exact opposite. I think they could tell I was close to the breaking point, so they made nice nice and knocked an additional 10% off and reordered it. Disaster was averted.

Sad but True

So I'm not a political activist, but I am amazed at how poorly the federal government has handled this whole katrina/new orleans thing. Bush seems to live in a well protected bubble. I didn't vote for him, and I think that the rest of America is starting to see why I didn't. The people of New Orleans, black, white, or whatever, shouldn't have to live like that.
